NOTICE OF HYBRID PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Edgewood Planning Commission will be conducting two hybrid public hearings at Edgewood City Hall, 2224 104th Avenue East, Edgewood, Washington, commencing at approximately 6:00 p.m., on Monday, May 9, 2022, to receive public comments on:
Comprehensive Plan Final Docket - The City of Edgewood Planning Commission noticed a public hearing to accept public comment regarding the suggested amendments on the preliminary docket for amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Following the public hearing, the Planning Commission may issue a recommendation for consideration by the City Council during the annual amendment process. The preliminary docket includes two (2) requests, related to incorporation and reference of both the Town Center Subarea Plan and the updated Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails (PROST) Plan into the Comprehensive Plan.
Impact Fee Exemption Code Amendments - The City of Edgewood Planning Commission noticed a public hearing to accept public comment regarding proposed code amendments to implement one uniform impact fee exemption process for low-income housing, contained in EMC Title 4. Following the public hearing, the Planning Commission may issue a recommendation for consideration by the City Council to approve the proposed code amendments.
This hybrid meeting allows the public to join and participate by signing in. You can find the Zoom link on the city website www.cityofedgewood.org to participate. If you wish to make public comments, the Chair will call on the participant asking to speak at the appropriate time. Participants can alternatively submit written comments to rachel@cityofedgewood.org. All written comments must be received prior to 5:00pm on May 9, 2022.
