NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Edgewood City Council will conduct a hybrid Public Hearing on April 26, 2022, to accept public comment regarding proposed code amendments to Edgewood Municipal Code (EMC) Title 13. The proposed code amendments would result in minor textual changes to ensure consistency with the Pierce County Stormwater Management and Site Development Manual and ensure that the following issues are supported in City of Edgewood code: strict downstream analysis requirements, lower flow control thresholds, and strict limitations on the use of low-impact development (LID), based on City staff’s observations over the last 5 years that LID has demonstrated adverse downstream impacts.
The public hearing will be hybrid and will commence at approximately 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. The hybrid meeting may be accessed by telephone if you wish to attend virtually at (253) 215-8782 (Meeting ID #83646527074) or online at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84461902645. Participants can alternatively submit written comments to rachel@cityofedgewood.org. All written comments must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing with subject title- “Public Comments for 04/26/2022 – “EMC Title 13 SW Manual Updates.”
