NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Edgewood City Council will conduct two Public Hearings at Edgewood City Hall, 2224 104th Avenue East, Edgewood, Washington, commencing at approximately 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, to receive public comments regarding:


1. Noise Ordinance - a public hearing to accept public comment regarding the proposed code amendments pertaining to Edgewood Municipal Code (EMC) Titles 8, 12, and 18. (8.20, 8.05.050, 18.90.140, 18.100.110, 12.10.050, 12.10.080, and 8.09.020) that change enforcement of noise pollution violations from required decibel readings to time-of-day constraints and noise audible at specified distance(s).

2. GIS Map Code Updates- a public hearing to accept public comment regarding the proposed code amendments pertaining to Edgewood Municipal Code (EMC) 14.10.040, 18.80.020, and 18.80.030 that reflect the technological advances the city has made related to the geographic information system (GIS) map and ensure the best applicability of potential critical areas, future land use designations, and current zoning for properties in Edgewood.


This meeting does allow public to join the meeting and able to participate virtually by signing into the zoom link that is located on the City’s website. If you wish to make public comments, the Chair will call on the participant asking to speak at the appropriate time. Participants can alternatively submit written comments to rachel@cityofedgewood.org. All written comments must be received prior to 5:00pm on the day of the regularly scheduled meeting with subject title- Public Comments for 01/25/2022. A copy of these items can be obtained by e-mailing the City Clerk at the email listed above.
