Salary Range: $7,548-$9,046/mo. DOQ

Job description: Under the direction of the Mayor and or his/her designee, this position is responsible for a broad range of functions in Community Development in accordance with federal, state and City laws and general City policy.  The Community Development Director plans, organizes, directs, and controls the functions of the Community Development Department, which includes the functions of current planning, long-range planning, code enforcement, building, inspection, and permitting.  This position requires a high degree of independent judgment, initiative, and discretion and is required to provide expert advice and policy recommendations to the Mayor and City Council.
